Hypergene Concludes Important Agreement in Norway
In collaboration with its Norwegian partner Arribatec, tech company Hypergene has secured its first Norwegian client in Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA). HiOA is Norway’s largest university college, with over 20,000 students and 2,100 members of staff.
HiOA has chosen Hypergene as its holistic analysis and reporting solution – with the next stage in the process being performance management, long-range budgeting, risk management and project management. The decision was reached following a comparison of local and global software companies within the decision support and business management field. Hypergene comfortably came out on top, both in the weighted evaluation and in a straight assessment of various evaluation criteria.
“Digitisation of our business management is a priority development process and an element in our new strategy, Strategy 2024. We also need to be better able to plan how we go about achieving our objectives and then following up on them, both at management level and within the operation. For that reason, we are delighted to be introducing Hypergene, which proved to be the clear choice in our evaluation,” says Tore Hansen, Director of Organisational and Corporate Governance at HiOA.
“We are incredibly pleased about the agreement with Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. During the procurement process we were compared with other players on the Norwegian market, which confirmed that we have a very competitive solution. This agreement also marks a milestone in our collaboration with our Norwegian partner Arribatec, which can now continue to take on exciting challenges with our full support. Arribatec has ensured that a deal was struck and will now also contribute to delivery of the solution,” says Per Hidenius, CEO of Hypergene.
The solution is expected to be in place by the end of January, at which point it will have approx. 200-300 users. A decision will then be made on the next step in digitising business management at HiOA and increasing the total number of users to around 500-800.
